I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix 6 g7 X# Y/ R# z2 E/ A1 D3 n0 ^* F7 } ]; Y/ q$ K2 k9 N
