I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix ; J6 k! a, E1 w1 e( _, u$ t6 R9 \8 d/ E' A3 D$ d/ c1 ?! u/ E: Q
and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here & H- `1 x/ F' r `$ K) ]just that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
